Amazon experts for gourmet & specialty food.
Gourmet is a different game than everyday grocery. Your product wins on story, provenance, and quality — not the lowest price — and often has to clear customs and FDA before it ever reaches a shelf. We handle the compliance and the premium positioning that lets you command your price.
Where gourmet & specialty brands get stuck.
Premium product, discount marketplace
Amazon is built around low-price expectations and its own private label, so a beautifully-made, higher-priced product can look "overpriced" in a search grid. Without premium signals, quality just reads as expensive.
Import holds at the border
Foreign gourmet brands live in fear of a shipment held or detained by the FDA before it reaches a warehouse — usually over Prior Notice, FSVP, or labeling most owners have never heard of.
Certification claims that trip enforcement
Organic, gluten-free, non-GMO — each has real rules and documentation behind it, and a claim without the substantiation gets the listing suppressed after the sales are flowing.
Perishables can't go FBA
Amazon has no cold storage, so premium cheese, chocolate, and fresh items can't run through standard FBA. Many owners don't realize FBM and cold-chain fulfillment is the path.
Gifting done at the last minute
Q4 gourmet gifting is make-or-break, but brands arrive without gift sets, holiday packaging, or the inventory timing to capture it.
Unauthorized sellers erode the price
Third-party sellers hijack listings and undercut your premium price, eroding both margin and the brand control a gourmet product depends on.
From customs to checkout — handled.
Import & compliance concierge
FDA facility registration and U.S. Agent, FSVP, Prior Notice, and label review — so your shipments clear customs and reach the warehouse instead of FDA detention.
Certification & claims done right
We substantiate USDA Organic, Certified Gluten-Free, Non-GMO, Kosher, and Halal claims the way Amazon expects, and keep listings compliant so they don't get suppressed.
Premium creative & brand story
Premium A+ Content, Brand Story, and appetite-driven imagery and video that let provenance and quality carry the price — the reason a shopper pays more.
Positioning that justifies the price
We build the concrete reasons your product costs more into the listing, so premium pricing reads as premium value, not just expensive.
Q4 gourmet gifting engine
Gift sets, bundles, holiday packaging, and inventory timing — including virtual bundles to test combinations — to capture the gifting season that makes gourmet's year.
Perishable & retention path
FBM, Seller-Fulfilled Prime, and cold-chain routing for products that can't go FBA, plus Subscribe & Save for premium pantry staples that earn repeat purchase.
Gourmet wins on story and compliance — not on price.
Specialty food fails on Amazon for two avoidable reasons: it gets treated like a commodity and loses the price war, or its imports get stuck at the border. We solve both — so your product reaches the shelf and earns its premium:
- Imports that clear FDA and customs — Prior Notice, FSVP, facility registration, and label review handled
- Certifications substantiated the way Amazon requires — organic, gluten-free, non-GMO, and more
- Premium creative and positioning that give shoppers a real reason to pay more
- A gifting and bundle plan built for the Q4 gourmet season
Food and import rules are detailed and change; we track current FDA, USDA, and Amazon requirements so your shipments and claims hold up. For formal regulatory questions, we work alongside your specialists.

Gourmet & specialty food FAQs
What are FSVP and Prior Notice, and do I need them?
If you import food into the U.S., almost certainly yes. FDA Prior Notice must be filed for essentially every imported food shipment before it arrives, and the U.S. importer needs a Foreign Supplier Verification Program. Miss either and your shipment can be held at the border. We manage both, plus FDA facility registration and a U.S. Agent.
Can I sell perishable or refrigerated gourmet products on Amazon?
Yes, but not through standard FBA — Amazon has no cold storage. We route premium perishables through FBM, Seller-Fulfilled Prime, or a cold-chain 3PL so they reach customers in condition, with the Prime badge where it's possible.
How do I make organic or gluten-free claims correctly?
Each has rules behind it — USDA Organic requires certification and at least 95% organic content to use the seal; "gluten-free" has an FDA threshold and is usually backed by third-party certification. We make sure the documentation is on file so the claim is compliant and the listing doesn't get suppressed.
How do I compete when I'm the premium-priced option?
You don't compete on price — you win on story, quality, and repeat purchase. We build the provenance and quality cues into premium creative and positioning, and lean on reviews, bundles, and subscriptions, so shoppers have a concrete reason to pay more.
Can you help with holiday gourmet gifting?
Yes — it's one of the biggest levers in specialty food. We build gift sets, bundles, and holiday packaging, test combinations with virtual bundles, and time inventory so you capture the Q4 gifting rush instead of missing it.
Do you work with specialty food brands nationwide?
Yes. We work with artisan, gourmet, imported, and specialty-diet food brands across the United States — managed entirely online, from small-batch launches to established premium catalogs.
